Learn  how to create these cool wire rings in a fun 2-hour class. Family and  friends would love a holiday gift especially created just for them.  Through demonstration and handouts, you will learn basic wire  techniques, how to use a ring mandrel, use basic jewelry tools, and  embellish with crystals. Class materials provide creation of 3 rings.

A class environment where you as a beginner will have opportunities to  explore the Sgraffito Technique. Students will be able to design,  construct, and decorate their own clay creation.
This workshop will  be demonstrated by the instructor who will be responsive to each  students needs and level of experience. Sgraffito (Italian) is a  technique in pottery of applying to an unfired ceramic body, slip or  glaze and then scratching as to reveal parts of the underlying layer.  This workshop features a pineapple platter as a warm welcoming to the  new year in the heart of Sarasota.

“Gyotaku”  is an ancient Japanese painting technique fishermen used to document  their catch since the 1800’s. Painting on a fish, the image is then  transferred onto paper. The artist, David Dessauer, happily combines his  love of fishing and the arts to bring you these beautiful prints. All  David's frames are custom made from recycled wood.Custom fish print of  your catch is always available! Ask David Dessauer how!!

Join wire jewelry artist, Sandy , and learn how to create a beautiful wire frame to show off that gemstone cabochon. In this class, you will use square and half round wire, learn basic wrapping, gain skill in proper use of tools and create a bail. Just add your favorite chain for that extra WOW. Pique Assiette/Trencadis is also known as broken tile mosaic.
In this 2 hour class, we will create one-of-a-kind artworks on to a  12x12 fiberglass mesh substrate using tile, broken chards of chinaware,  and other elements. Final creations can then be adhered onto flower  pots, vases, or flat surfaces and grouted to complete.

Come  join expressinve artist, singer, sotryteller, and lay-minister Selinah  Eldridge as she facilitates a gathering to create spirit dolls! These  dolls are created to express your own unique spirits. All materials are  included in the class fee. This class is 3 hours long and includes a  guided imagery journey to connect with our createive self as well as  storytelling when dolls are completed.

Shibori  is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique which produces patterns on  fabric with natural objects. The traditional color is indigo. In this  class, you will make two silk scarves; one to keep, and one to give as a  gift!

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

In this fun 2 hour beginning wire jewelry class, Through demonstration  and handouts, you will learn to make the wire do what YOU want, basic  wire wrapping, learn about the basic tools and kinds of wire, and how to  add crystals for that just right sparkle for your two unique bracelets.  ALL TOOLS and MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS. Class materials  are provided for the creation of 2 bracelets.

This  workshop will instruct students to create a one-of-a-kind fabric  collage using bonda web and other fusible web methods and hand and  machine sewing, embellishment, etc. Students will consider the elements  and principles of good design as they create their compositions.  Finished pieces can be made into handbags, pillows, framed pieces, etc.
